Actor, model, producer. Born March 10, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The daughter of the factory worker, Stone won a scholarship to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania at 15 where she studied creative writing and fine arts. Upon graduation, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant winner made a decision to pursue a modeling career in The big apple where she signed using the Ford agency. From the late 1970s, Stone would be a highly sought-after model, appearing in print and tv ads nationwide.

Stone decided to branch out into acting inside 1980s, just to show up in many little-seen films through the decade aside from 1984's Irreconcilable Differences. Her first notable part were only available in 1990's Total Recall because the wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Two years then one nude photo aim for Playboy later, the actress's star vehicle arrived when she landed the role from the unforgettable bisexual murder suspect inside the blockbuster film Basic Instinct with Michael Douglas. In 2003, the actress costarred in Catwoman with Benjamin Bratt and Halle Berry.

In the late 1990s, Stone earned more attention for her fashionable lifestyle than her filmmaking. She was married to producer Michael Greenburg from 1984 to 1987 and San fran Chronicle Executive Editor Phil Bronstein from 1998 to January 2004. In 2001, Stone and Bronstein adopted a son, Roan Joseph Bronstein.
