She is the star of three major motion pictures, including her first Oscar winning performance in The Piano, the role of the young Jane in the 1996 film Jane Eyre, and the role of Amy Alden in this fall's charming family film, Fly Away Home. Her future projects include The Member of The Wedding (January, USA Network) and The Miracle of Pelham Bay Park (in pre-production).
